2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the
presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in(of) the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Amen (so be it).

Bible Reveals that the Holy Spirit is a Person

1, The Holy Spirit has feelings:

He can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30);
He can be insulted (Hebrews 10:29);
He can think things are good (Acts 15:28)
He intercedes with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26)

2. The Holy Spirit has a mind:
He knows and performs the activity of searching all things, even the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10-11);
He possesses a mind (Romans 8:27),
He can teach people (1 Corinthians 2:13).

3. The Holy Spirit has a will:
He chooses to give gifts to some (1 Corinthians 12:11), He directs activities of Christians (Acts 16:6-11).

He intercedes (prays) for the saints (Romans 8:26)

4. He interacts with people as a person:

The Holy Spirit speaks (Acts 10:19; 13:2; Hebrews 3:7, Revelation 22:17; John 16:13; Romans 8:26-27; ~Matthew 10:20; ~Mark 13:11)

He speaks directly, person to person (Acts 10:19-21) And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 Rise and go down
and accompany them without hesitation,[c] for I have sent them.”

He can be lied to (Acts 5:3)

But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4 While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but to God.”

Dynamics of Relationship with Holy Spirit

1. Holy Spirit's 3 part interaction with us:
spirit: The Holy Spirt dwells in our spirit man and must be

known first -spiritually. Inner witness(faith relationship, inner man confidence, intuitive knowing, trans- rational sense)

soul: The Holy Spirit fills, touches, inspires, infuses, transforms, communicates with our souls.

Fruit fills our emotions, prophetically inform our minds, influences and transforms our wills.

body: The Holy Spirit refreshes, heals, strengthens, good bumps, empowers our bodies.

2. The Holy Spirit, though God, interacts with us with the same dynamics involved in other relationships:

-he talks with us
-he feels with us
-he thinks with us
-he has emotional reactions to us -he woos us

3. The Holy Spirit has a native language that is “spiritualese”( all consistent with the Bible of course)

-Not all that the Spirit says is in english

-dreams, visions, prophecy from others, nature, circumstances call all be mediums of communication

-checks, nudges, burdens, senses - are all ways that the Spirit communicates

4. The Holy Spirit is progressivly known through literal relational time spent

-stillness -prayer -scriptures -worship
-daily dialogue

May we set our hearts to intentionally have living heart- relationship with the Holy Spirit as the center of our life in Christ!
