Romans 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. 23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as
sons, the redemption of our bodies.
26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for
words
. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace (favor and spiritual blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the
presence and fellowship (the communion and sharing together, and participation) in the Holy Spirit be with you

all. Amen (so be it). Amplified Version

James 4:5 Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”?
5 Or do you suppose that the Scripture is speaking to no purpose that says, The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us

yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome]

with a jealous love?

I believe that there is an epidemic spiritual illiteracy in the body of Christ around the reality of knowing the Holy Spirit as God and as a person.

Many lose the deep personal heart-experience with the Holy Spirit by being either worldly or religious.

Both worldliness and religion dull the Soul of man to the personal presence of the Holy Spirit.

The inward invisible heart of man is made up of two main parts; the soul(self-consciousness) and the spirit(God-consciousness).

The Holy Spirit is one with the spirit of the believer according to 1 Corinthians 6:17: But he who is joined to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.

But the soul of a believer moves in an out of a
living conscious experience with the Spirit. Revelation
3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and eat with him, and he with me

Growing as a disciple is not a process of “getting better” at kingdom things, but rather the process of receiving and agreeing with the living Holy Spirit that indwells your inner man.

How to go deeper and more personal with the Holy Spirit:

1. Activate faith in scriptures that speak of the Holy Spirit’s living actions.

2. Pray daily to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

3. Practice living communion with the Holy Spirit in dialogue prayer, worship, silent meditation, daily conversation with the Spirit, etc.

4. Fellowship consistently with a spiritual prophetic community of believers.

5. Partner with the Holy Spirit in His mission to proclaim and glorify Christ in mission.

Nothing more important to the disciple than to grow deeper and more personal with the Holy Spirit!!
