All things are made by Him and for Him.

John 1:1-3, 9-11

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

9 The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. 11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.

Colossians 1:15-18

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

Hebrews 1:1-2

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

Revelation 4:11 (KJV)

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

These, with other verses, answer the two great questions of humanity:

1-Where did this world come from?

2-Why is this world here?

The answer can be found in the phrase in Colossians 1:16 - "by him and for him".

Colossians 1:16

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

Jesus made every thing -

Job 38:4-7

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?

Tell me, if you have understanding. 5 Who determined its measurements—surely you know!

Or who stretched the line upon it? 6 On what were its bases sunk,

or who laid its cornerstone, 7 when the morning stars sang together

and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Jesus made everything for himself and his Father, by the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 15:20-25

But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ. 24 Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.

A glorious Angel, Satan, whose primary job was worship, began a work of rebellious thievery that spilled out of heaven into the hearts of man and upon the earth.

John 10:10

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

The many prophecies about the "Day of the Lord", i.e. the second coming (8 times more than prophecies about the first coming), are focused upon setting right this Global Stealing that has gone on for millenniums.

Jesus will come, in partnership with his church, to bring ultimate justice in the nations. And that justice primarily has to do with what has been stolen from Jesus not man.

Peter will say it this way in a sermon in Acts 3:19-21

Acts 3:19-21

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, 20 that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus, 21 whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of his holy prophets long ago.

I want to challenge us all to meditate on these realities and to pray for a deeper revelation that turns into a holy jealousy for Jesus to have what is rightfully his.

Jesus deserves all of creation outwardly and all of our worship inwardly!

This should be the driving core of our missioning and praying.

We mission and pray unto the end of Jesus regaining what is rightfully his which will lead to:

    1) the spread of his glory and government everywhere

    2) his pleasure and our ultimate joy
