The Coming Revival and God's Delight
November 12, 2017      |     By: Jonathan Brickley      |      Category: Sermons

Jonathan's message today centers on prayer and its importance in revival.  When we pray: God is moved, people are moved, situations are moved, angels respond, natural laws are overridden and revival comes.  Sam also provides a followup with a working definition of revival and stories regarding the fire of revival beginning in Kansas.

A high degree of gratification or pleasure. Joy. Extreme satisfaction.

15 The Lord has taken away the judgments against you; he has cleared away your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you shall never again fear evil.
16 On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.

19 For a people shall dwell in Zion, in Jerusalem; you shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. As soon as he hears it, he answers you.

When we pray:
- God is moved
- People are moved
- Situations are moved
- Angels respond
- Natural laws are overridden
- Revival comes

Definition of Revival:
Revival is the Holy Spirit’s work of awakening the body of Christ resulting in repentance, wholehearted love for God, and personal transformation. As the body of Christ is revived this same work spills out into the lives of unbelievers leading them to repentance and salvation, transforming families, neighborhoods, cities, and even nations.

Revival is the Restoration of “normal” Jesus and “Book of Acts” ministry.
