An equipping ministry to Disciple the Church.
A mission base to Send the Church.
4 Just think how great he was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the plunder!
5 Now the law requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people—that is, from their fellow Israelites—even though they also are descended from Abraham.
6 This man, however, did not trace his descent from Levi, yet he collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises.
7 And without doubt the lesser is blessed by the greater.
8 In the one case, the tenth is collected by people who die; but in the other case, by him who is declared to be living.
9 One might even say that Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham,
10 because when Melchizedek met Abraham, Levi was still in the body of his ancestor.
The Apostolic Gospel reveals that position creates performance or said another way: who you’re IN is who you will ACT like.
You are a sinner first not because of what you have done but because of who you are born in.
12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
When Adam, who we were all IN, sinned, we all sinned and thus have sinful nature and are declared guilty.
Praise God we can be BORN AGAIN into another MAN - Christ.
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.
6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’
8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
Believers are now spiritually positioned IN CHRIST:
1 Corinthians 3:30-31
30 It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness, and redemption.
31 Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
Around 200 times the phrase “in/of/by/from Christ” is used in the New Testament.
A believer has had a radical history change!
It is all about - “Who’s your Daddy”!
It is important for the believer to know that they have revived two primary Graces at salvation:
1. Grace in the atonement for forgiveness and resultant position in Christ.
2. Grace gift, which determines your spiritual personality and anointing in the body of Christ.
3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.
4 For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
5 so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith;
7 if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach;
8 if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.
The way you think about the kingdom and your personal warfare are connected to what your grace gifts are.
